An overview of the

The association of southeast Asian nations low-carbon energy projects of south-east Asian nations (ASEAN) LCEP is the prosperity of aid projects funded 15 million pounds.The project aims to make full use of the green financial and energy efficiency professional knowledge, rich and mature with the public and the private sector of the local and international entities in close cooperation, to help asean countries enjoyed the benefits of a deployment of low-carbon energy.The project in six countries, Indonesia, Malaysia, myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.The project will use the green finance, energy efficiency and using the low carbon energy, thus support inclusive growth and eliminate poverty.

To achieve this purpose, the project to provide targeted support to various countries, including the policy recommendations, capacity building, technical assistance and market development, etc.

Carbon trust will cooperate with ernst & young and IMC Worldwide to deliver the project, and is responsible for the energy efficiency of the parts.The project by 2022.

Support domain

Carbon trust support focuses on the following areas:

  • Improved energy efficiency policies and regulations, orders or target, support capacity building
  • Development of energy data collection process and method, used to enhance the analysis of industrial energy data
  • By promoting the pilot project, design new products, and to the energy service company (ESCO) measures such as opening up the market, expand the size of the energy efficiency investments
  • By promoting energy management system and to find opportunities to food and beverage enterprise's energy saving, improvement on the efficiency of the energy business
  • Gender equality and social inclusion is the core of all support.
Green bonds to support

Carbon trust can help issuers are established and used up to the standard of green bonds green bonds framework, or green bonds to the issuer provided authentication service.Carbon trust to provide consulting services and verify the relevant costs, will be included in the association of southeast Asian nations of south-east Asian nations (ASEAN) LCEP low-carbon energy projects.
